## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) N427UA WAS OPERATED BY UNITED AIRLINES AS FLIGHT 710, ENROUTE FROM WASHINGTON, DC (IAD) TO DENVER, CO (DIA). AT FLIGHT LEVEL 360, THE #2 ENGINE STALLED. THE ENGINE STALL WAS AUDIBLE WITH A SLIGHT YAW, DURING WHICH THE ENGINE PARAMETERS DROPPED TO IDLE, THEN RECOVERED WITHIN 10 SECONDS. SHORTLY THEREAFTER THE OIL CLOG LIGHT AND ECAM MESSAGE CAME ON. THE ENGINE DID NOT SHUT DOWN. THE CREW DIVERTED TO OMAHA, NE. UALA MECHANICS CHANGED THE ENGINE, THE ENGINE WILL BE SENT TO THE PRATT AND WHITNEY FACILITY IN COLUMBUS, GA FOR TEARDOWN.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
