## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE AIRCRAFT LANDED LONG ON RUNWAY 18 AT THE ANKENY, IA AIRPORT AND ATTEMPTED TO TURN ONTO THE TAXIWAY AT THE END OF THE RUNWAY. THE NOSE WHEEL SLID OFF INTO THE GRASS AND MUD ADJACENT TO THE TAXIWAY. THE AIRCRAFT WAS POWERED THROUGH THE MUD FOR APPROXIMATELY 275 FEET IN AN ATTEMPT TO GET THE AIRCRAFT BACK ONTO THE TAXIWAY. THIS ATTEMPT WAS UNSUCCESSFUL AND THE PASSENGERS WERE TRANSPORTED TO THE TERMINAL BY CAR. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE CREW OR PASSENGERS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
