## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO TAKEOFF ON A GRASS STRIP, WITH APPROXIMATELY 200 GALLONS OF LORSBAN FOR AN AERIAL APPLICATION OPERATION. AFTER A GROUND ROLL OF APPROXIMATELY 600 FEET, THE PILOT ABORTED THE TAKEOFF. AFTER THE PILOT APPLIED THE BRAKES, THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED FOR APPROXIMATELY ANOTHER 400 FEET DUE TO MOISTURE ON THE GRASS. THE AIRCRAFT SLID INTO A DRAINAGE DITCH AT THE END OF THE FIELD AND CAME TO REST.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
