(-23) THE PILOT WANTED TO MAKE A "PRACTICE" SIMULATED ENGINE OUT APPROACH AND COMMENCED A GLIDING APPROACH TO RWY 34. THE PILOT STATED THAT NEITHER HE OR HIS PILOT RATED PASSENGER REALIZED THAT HE HAD FAILED TO LOWER THE LANDING GEAR.
