## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT INDICATED THAT HE WAS MAKING A ROUTINE LANDING ON THE UPPER COLONY GLACIER WHEN AT THE END OF THE LANDING ROLL THE AIRCRAFT SANK INTO SOME SOFT SNOW AND SLUSH. THE PROPELLER DUG INTO THE SNOW AND CAME TO STOP IN A NEAR VERTICAL POSITION THEREBY KEEPING THE AIRCRAFT FROM GOING OVER ON ITS NOSE. THE LEFT WING CAME IN CONTACT WITH THE SNOW AS THE AIRPLANE CAME TO A STOP. A VISUAL INSPECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT INDICATED DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
