## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON SEPTEMBER 14, 2007 AT 1531 CENTRAL DAYLIGHT TIME, A RUTAN LONG-EZ, REGISTERED AND OPERATED BY THE PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ SUFFERED A POWER LOSS AND CRASHED SHORT OF RUNWAY 36 AT THE SPRINGDALE MUNICIPAL AIRPORT, SPRINGDALE, AR. THE AIRPLANE WAS OPERATED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF TITLE 14 OF THE CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS, PART 91 AND VISUAL FLIGHT RULES. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AND NO FLIGHT PLAN WAS FILED FOR THE PERSONAL FLIGHT. THE PILOT AND PASSENGER RECEIVED NO INJURIES AND THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED FROM GRIDER FIELD AIRPORT, PINE BLUFF, AR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
