## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON SEPTEMBER 25, 2007 AT 0910 MST A MOONEY, M-20-F, N9403V, WAS ATTEMPTING TO BACK TAXI FOR TAKE OFF FROM RUNWAY 31 WHEN THE AIRCRAFT RIGHT MAIN AND NOSE LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED. THE PRIVATE PILOT REPORTED THAT THE RUNWAY WAS BEING RESURFACED AND AS HE WENT OVER A SMALL RAISED PORTION THE LANDING COLLAPSED. THE AIRCRAFT RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER AND UNDERSIDE OF THE FUSELAGE AND RIGHT WING. THE AIRCRAFT WAS FERRIED TO A MAINTENANCE FACILITY IN ALAMOSA, CO FOR REPAIRS. SUBSEQUENT INSPECTION BY MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL FAILED TO REVEAL ANY PRE-EXISTING ABNORMALITY THAT COULD CAUSE THE LANDING GEAR TO COLLAPSE. AS A PRECAUTIONARY MEASURE THE MLG DOWNLOCK SPRINGS AND ACTUATOR TUBES WERE REPLACED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
