## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB NYC08LA018](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/NYC08LA018), Oct 20, 2007: Blair Skybolt (N1UU), Guntersville, AL, substantial damage. Probable cause: Separation of the right tailwheel control link spring from the right control arm of the tailwheel, which resulted in a loss of control during landing.

## Other reports on N1UU (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19901125051649I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19901125051649I), Nov 25, 1990: Amtrsn SKYBOLT (N1UU), Guntersville, AL, Minor damage. Engine quit after departure. Returned. Landed on grass as another aircraft on runway.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
