## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON LANDING, PILOT REPORTED AIRCRAFT RIGHT ENGINE SHUT DOWN OVER RUNWAY THRESHOLD WITH ASSOCIATED COCKPIT MASTER WARNING. CREW CONTINUED LANDING SEQUENCE, AND STATED DID NOT HAVE TIME TO DECLARE EMERGENCY. AIRCRAFT TAXIED TO RAMP WITHOUT INCIDENT. COMPANY MECHANIC INSPECTED ENGINE, PERFORMED GROUND POWER ASSURANCE RUN, AND BORESCOPED ENGINE WITH NO TROUBLE FOUND. THE DIGITAL FLIGHT DATA RECORDER WAS READ OUT, REVEALING NORMAL ENGINE PARAMETERS DURING THE EVENT. OPERATOR DIAGNOSED PROBLEM AS PROPELLER AUTO-COARSENING EVENT, AND REPLACED AUTO-COARSENING COMPUTER (PART NUMBER 8542M2) AND ANTI-ICE/START BLEED VALVE (PART NUMBER 6068T56P01). AIRCRAFT WAS FERRIED BACK TO KDTW ON 20071030 DUE TO OTHER MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS, THEN RETURNED TO SERVICE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
