## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) N828AS, CL-600-2B19, BEING OPERATED BY ATLANTIC SOUTHEAST AIRLINES AS FLIGHT 4914, DECLARED AN EMERGENCY ON APPROACH INTO OMAHA, NE, DUE TO A GEAR DISAGREEMENT MESSAGE. THE CREW EXTENDED THE LANDING GEAR BY USING THE FREE FALL METHOD. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED SAFELY. CONTRACT MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE AIRCRAFT AND IT WAS FLOWN NON-REVENUE TO ATLANTA, GA. COMPANY MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL REPLACED THE MAIN LANDING GEAR BYPASS VALVE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
