## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 10/31/2007, AT APPROXIMATELY 1850, AIRCRAFT LANDED ON RUNWAY 15, WITH A TOTAL ELECTRICAL FAILURE, AND LANDING GEAR RETRACTED. EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT WAS DISPATCHED TO THE AIRCRAFT AS A PRECAUTION. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED. WHILE PIC WAS BEING VECTORED FOR AN ILS APPROACH TO RUNWAY 15, PIC AND CFI NOTICED RADIO DISPLAY INTERRUPTIONS WITH INTERMITTENT FLICKERING, AND UNUSUAL NOISE IN THE SPEAKERS. CFI SUSPECTED AN ELECTRICAL FAILURE AND CALLED FOR IMMEDIATE EXTENSION OF THE LANDING GEAR. AT THIS POINT, THE 'RED' TRANSIT LIGHT ILLUMINATED WITH A FLICKER OF THE THREE GREEN INDICATION LIGHTS. IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWING, LOSS OF ALL ELECTRICAL POWER OCCURRED. PIC AND CFI THOUGHT AT THE TIME THE LANDING GEAR WAS DOWN AND LOCKED. HOWEVER, AIRCRAFT LANDED ON RUNWAY 15, WITH LANDING GEAR IN THE RETRACTED POSITION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
