## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 11/17/2007 AT ABOUT 2000 EST THE PILOT FLYING ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ LOST DIRECTIONAL CONTROL AND THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED RUNWAY 24 AT MARTHAS VINEYARD AIRPORT. THE AIRCRAFT STRUCK A DIRECTIONAL SIGN AND A DISTANCE MARKER. THERE WERE NO INJURIES TO THE PILOT OR THE COPILOT. THE AIRCRAFT WAS A NET JETS AIRCRAFT ON A REPOSITIONING FLIGHT. THE AIRCRAFT DAMAGE WAS NON STRUCTURAL. THE DAMAGE CONSISTED OF A PUNCTURE TO THE RIGHT WING LEADING EDGE, BOTTOM AND AFT PORTIONS OF THE RIGHT WING FLAP, THE RIGHT KRUEGER FLAP AND ATTACHED BRACKETS, A SCRAPE ALONG THE UNDERSIDE OF THE RIGHT WING, AND DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT FLAP HINGE CANOE FAIRING. GULFSTREAM ENGINEERING IS WORKING TO APPROVE A REPAIR SO THE AIRCRAFT CAN BE FERRIED. FERRY AUTHORIZATION WILL BE FROM THE CMO.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
