## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON NOVEMBER 21, 2007, AT 1040 EASTERN STANDARD TIME, A DIAMOND 40, N241KM EXPERIENCED A LOSS OF DIRECTIONAL CONTROL UPON LANDING ON RUNWAY 7 AT ORLANDO EXECUTIVE AIRPORT IN ORLANDO, FLORIDA. THE PILOT REPORTED THAT IMMEDIATELY AFTER LANDING FOR SOME UNKNOWN REASON THE AIRPLANE VEERED TO THE LEFT. THE PILOT APPLIED RIGHT RUDDER TO COMMPENSATE, HOWEVER THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED ON THE NEW TRACK EXITING THE RUNWAY AND IMPACTING A RUNWAY HOLD SHORT SIGN ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY INDICATING THE INTERSECTION OF RUNWAY 13-31 AND 7-25. THE IMPACT DAMAGED THE UNDERSIDE OF THE COMPOSITE WING EXPOSING THE FRONT SPAR AND POSSIBLE DAMAGE TO THE SPAR. THE FLIGHT WAS THE RETURN TRIP FROM VERO BEACH AIRPORT IN FLORIDA TO ORLANDO EXECUTIVE UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF TITLE 14 OF THE CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS (14 CFR) PART 91 WITH NO FLIGHT PLAN FILED. VISUAL WEATHER CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME OF THE ACCIDENT. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE. THE PILOT DID NOT RECEIVE ANY INJURIES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
