## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AIRCRAFT WAS CLEARED TO TAXI ONTO RUNWAY 13 ON TAXIWAY D. AS THE AIRCRAFT ENTERED THE RUNWAY, NOSE WHEEL BECAME INEFFECTIVE DUE TO ICY RUNWAY CONDITIONS. THE AIRCRAFT RIGHT MAIN GEAR SLID OFF THE RUNWAY. FREEZING RAIN HAD JUST STARTED TO FALL AND THE TAXIWAY AND RUNWAY BRAKING ACTION CONDITIONS WENT FROM GOOD TO NIL IN JUST A FEW MINUTES. NO WX ADVISORY WAS GIVEN TO THE CREW BECAUSE OF HOW QUICKLY THE CONDITIONS HAD CHANGED. WITNESSES STATED THE AIRCRAFT WAS ATTEMPTING TO TURN, BUT THE AIRCRAFT WOULD NOT RESPOND. THE AIRCRAFT JUST STARTED TO SLIDE IN A SIDEWAYS MOTION AS IT ENTERED THE RUNWAY. A NON-EMERGENCY EVACUATION WAS CONDUCTED WITH NO INJURIES. THE INVESTIGATING OFFICE SENT TWO EMAILS REQUESTING THE REQUIRED INFORMATION FOR COMPLETION OF THE -23 IN A TIMELY MANNER. TWO SUBSEQUENT PHONE MESSAGES WERE LEFT FOR THE POI, PLUS A PHONE MESSAGE REQUEST FROM ACE-230 IN MID-JANUARY 08 WERE MADE IN AN ATTEMPT TO GATHER THE REQUIRED INFORMATION. INFORMATION FOR BLOCKS 13 (AIRCRAFT INFORMATION), 20 (#OF PASSENGERS) AND 31 (CREW DATA) WERE NEVER PROVIDED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
