## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON DECEMBER 5, 2007, AT 1030 CENTRAL DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME, A PIPER PA-28-160 RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE DURING A NORMAL LANDING AT CARROLL COUNTY AIRPORT, BERRYVILLE ARKANSAS WHEN A TURKEY IMPACTED THE PASSENGER WINDSHIELD AND ENDED UP INSIDE THE AIRCRAFT. THE AIRPLANE WAS REGISTERED AND OPERATED BY THE PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^. THE PRIVATE PILOT WAS THE SOLE OCCUPANT OF THE AIRPLANE AND WAS NOT INJURED. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED, AND A FLIGHT PLAN WAS NOT FILED FOR THE CFR 14, PART 91 LOCAL FLIGHT. THE FLIGHT WAS TERMINATING AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
