## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON NOVEMBER 15, 2007, FLIGHT 3743, AN AIRBUS A300-F4-605R (N684FE), OPERATED BY FEDERAL EXPRESS CORP., ENROUTE FROM INDIANAPOLIS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (IND) TO BOSTON LOGAN INTERNATIONAL (BOS), EXPERIENCED AN ECAM ADVISORY INDICATING THE #1 ENGINE OIL PRESSURE AT ZERO. THE CREW CONFIRMED THE ADVISORY WITH THE INDICATOR WHICH ALSO REGISTERED ZERO. THE CREW FOLLOWED PROCEDURES AND SHUT DOWN THE #1 ENGINE IN FLIGHT. THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO IND WHERE IT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT AT 22:32 UTC. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED THE #1 ENGINE OIL PRESSURE INDICATOR AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
