## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AT THE FORT LAUDERDALE EXECUTIVE AIRPORT (KFXE) ON DECEMBER 21, 2007 AT APPROXIMATELY 1520 EST, AIRCRAFT N203V WAS CLEARED TO LAND ON RUNWAY 26. THIS AIRCRAFT IS AN AMATEUR BUILT; MODEL - QUESTAIR VENTURE, MANUFACTURED BY MYERS DANIEL KENNETH, SERIAL NUMBER 22 AND WAS PILOTED BY ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^. THE PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ STATED THAT APPARENTLY HE DID NOT NOTICE THAT THE NOSE GEAR DOWN & LOCKED LIGHT WAS NOT ILLUMINATED ON APPROACH AND LANDED WITH ONLY THE MAIN LANDING GEAR EXTENDED. THE AFTER INCIDENT INSPECTION REVEALED THE NOSE GEAR ACTUATOR CIRCUIT BREAKER WAS TRIPPED OPEN AND THE NOSE GEAR DOWN LOCK LIGHT WAS NOT ILLUMINATED. THIS WAS CONFIRMED BY THE LACK OF DAMAGE TO THE NOSE LANDING GEAR, THE NOSE GEAR DOORS AND THAT THE NOSE GEAR WAS IN THE UP & LOCKED POSITION. DAMAGE WAS LIMITED TO THE PROPELLER, ENGINE AND LOWER ENGINE COWLING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
