## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON JANUARY 2, 2008, AT 1804 CST, BEECH BE-76, N6697D, STARTED A TAKE OFF ROLL ON RWY 33R, KMWC, UNDER VFR CONDITIONS TO PERFORM LOCAL, PATTERN OPERATIONS. AT APPROXIMATELY 700 FEET FROM THE DEPARTURE END OF THE RUNWAY THE AIRCRAFT LOST DIRECTIONAL CONTROL DUE TO LACK OF POSITIVE RUDDER AUTHORITY (LOW AIRSPEED) AND THE MAIN LANDING GEAR CONTACTING PACKED SNOW ON THE PAVEMENT. THIS RESULTED IN THE AIRCRAFT SKIDDING NOSE FIRST INTO A SNOW BANK ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE AND THE SOLE OCCUPANT PILOT WAS NOT INJURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
