## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE CREW DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND LANDED THE AIRCRAFT SAFELY. THE CREW REPORTED THAT THE FLAPS FAILED AT THE ZERO POSITION. CONTRACT MAINTENANCE RESPONDED. THERE WAS NO FLAP FAILURE MESSAGE AT POWER UP. MAINTENANCE COMPLIED WITH AD 2006-12-21. NO FURTHER DISCREPANCIES THRU 4 FLAP CYCLES. THE AIRCRAFT WAS PUT ON A 72 HOUR FLAP WATCH, PER AD 2006-12-21.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
