## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 1/23/2008, AIRCRAFT N603QX, FLIGHT 2509 DEPARTED PDX FROM RUNWAY 10L ENROUTE TO ONT. PASSING THROUGH 10,000 FEET THE CREW HEARD A LOUD NOISE. WHEN LANDED AT ONT THE LEFT OUTBOARD MAIN LANDING GEAR DOOR WAS MISSING. THE MAIN LANDING GEAR DOOR FAILURE IS A CLASSIC AD2006-14-05 FAILURE. A SAFETY RECOMMENDATION WAS SUBMITTED TO THE MANAGER, RECOMMENDATION AND ANALYSIS DIVISION, AAI-200, ON FEBRUARY 6, 2008. A SDR WAS ISSUED ON THIS EVENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
