## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT REPORTED THAT AFTER TAKE-OFF HE RETRACTED THE LANDING GEAR AND THAT GEAR INDICATION LIGHT DID NOT SHOW THE GEAR HAD PROPERLY RETRACTED. HE THEN LOWERED THE LANDING AND THE GEAR INDICATOR LIGHT DID NOT SHOW THE GEAR PROPERLY EXTENDED. PILOT REPORTED THAT THE LANDING GEAR WAS CYCLED SEVERAL TIMES AND THAT THE GEAR INDICATOR LIGHTS DID NOT SHOW PROPER RETRACTION OR EXTENSION. AFTER CONTACTING THE LOCAL ATC TOWER HE PERFORMED A SLOW SPEED PASS AND THE CONTROLLER INFORMED HIM THAT THE GEAR APPEARED TO BE DOWN. THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO LAND THE AIRCRAFT ON RUNWAY 19 AND UPON LANDING ROLL OUT THE LEFT MAIN GEAR STARTED TO SHIMMY AND THE AIRCRAFT VEERED OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE. INSPECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT SHOWED THAT A HYDRAULIC LINE HAD BROKEN ON THE LEFT MAIN GEAR ACTUATOR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
