## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) MESABA AIRCRAFT N903XJ DE-ICING ON 22L PAD. AIRCRAFT MOVED FORWARD APPROXIMATELY 15-20 FEET. AIRCRAFT'S RIGHT WING TIP STRUCK THE RIGHT SIDE OF DE-ICING TRUCK CAB LEVEL. DAMAGE TO RIGHT WING VORTEX ASSEMBLY. AIRCRAFT ATTEMPTED TO DEPART PAD PRIOR TO RECEIVING CLEARANCE FROM DE-ICE CREW. AIRCRAFT STILL IN PROCESS OF DE-ICE. REPORTS INDICATED THAT THERE WAS APPARENT CONFUSION ON VHF DE-ICE FREQUENCY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
