## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) FLIGHT 1285, N819UP, DEPARTED KCLT ENROUTE TO KSDF. WHILE TAKING OFF, CREW OVERHEARD ATC ISSUE A WINDSHEAR ADVISORY ON THE APPROACH END OF THE RUNWAY. WHILE CLIMBING OUT OF 1000', CREW RECEIVED A WINDSHEAR WARNING FROM THE AIRCRAFT WINDSHEAR DETECTING SYSTEM. CREW INITIATED A WINDSHEAR RECOVERY. HOWEVER, THEY DID NOT PERFORM THE RECOVERY PER COMPANY PROCEDURES. THE FLIGHT ENGINEER PUSHED UP THE THROTTLES, ALLOWING THE ENGINES TO EXCEED THE 905C LIMIT. THE CREW REPORTED THAT ALL FOUR ENGINES HAD OVER-TEMPED TO 950C. CREW ACKNOWLEDGED THAT THE AIRCRAFT NEVER STOPPED CLIMBING AT LESS THAN 2000'/MINUTE AND GROUND IMPACT WAS NOT IMMINENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
