## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

DURING THIS FLIGHT AT THE ALTITUDE OF 700' THE PILOT STATED THAT THE ENGINE BEGAN TO RUN ROUGH, THE PILOT SWITCHED THE FUEL TANKS FROM THE LT TANK TO THE RT TANK, THE ENGINE QUIT RUNNING. THE PILOT COMPLETED AN EMERGENCY LANDING 1/4 MILE FROM HWY 58. DURING THE LANDING THE AIRCRAFT SETTLED PERPENDICULAR TO THE PLOWED FURROWS, BREAKING OFF THE NOSE GEAR AND COMING TO REST ON THE NOSE GEAR DOORS. THE PILOT AND THE ONE PASSENGER ON BOARD WERE NOT INJURED WITH MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
