## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AT APPROXIMATELY 1820L UNITED FLIGHT 783, N837UA, AN AIRBUS 319 WAS PARKED IN THE 19L RUN-UP BLOCK AWAITING TAKE OFF CLEARANCE WITH THE PARKING BRAKE SET. UNITED EXPRESS FLIGHT 7681, N637RW AN EMBRAER 170, WAS CLEARED INTO THE RUN-UP BLOCK NEXT TO THE PARKED AIRBUS. AS THE EMBRAER 170, N637RW TAXIED INTO THE RUN-UP BLOCK THE LEFT WING TIP STRUCK THE RIGHT WING TIP OF THE PARKED AIRBUS, N837UA. NO PASSENGERS OR CREW WERE INJURED. UPON ARRIVAL OF THE IIC 1900L IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE EMBRAER, N637RW WAS NOT SAFE TO DE-PLANE THE PASSENGERS. THE PASSENGERS OF THE AIRBUS N837UA, WERE DEPLANED AND THE STRUT ON THE AIRBUS WAS INFLATED TO LIFT THE WEIGHT OF THE WING OF THE EMBRAER, N637RW. THE PASSENGERS WERE THEN DEPLANED OFF OF THE EMBRAER, N637RW.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
