## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT IS NOT COOPERATING WITH THE NTSB OR FAA REGARDING THE ACCIDENT. PRELIMINARY INVESTIGATIONS INDICATES THAT PILOT LOST CONTROL OF AIRPLANE DURING TOUCHDOWN, AIRCRAFT VEERED TO LEFT THEN RIGHT AT WHICH POINT PILOT APPLIED EXCESSIVE BRAKING CAUSING AIRPLANE TO NOSE OVER COMPLETELY INVERTED ON THE RUNWAY. NEITHER WEATHER OR WIND IS A FACTOR. INVESTIGATION IS CONTINUING.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB MIA08CA067](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/MIA08CA067), Feb 25, 2008: Waco CTO (N845V), Venice, FL, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's improper use of brakes during the landing roll.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
