## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 3/3/08 WHILE ON APPROACH TO PITTSBURGH INTERNATIONAL, THE NUMBER 1 ENGINE OIL PRESSURE WARNING SYSTEM SHOWED LOW OIL PRESSURE. A PRECAUTIONARY ENGINE SHUTDOWN WAS PERFORMED, AND THE AIRCRAFT LANDED AND TAXIED TO THE RAMP WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. LOCAL MAINTENANCE AND MASA PERSONNEL TROUBLE SHOT THE DISCREPANCY, REPLACED OIL PUMP, FLUSHED AND CLEANED ENGINE OIL SYSTEM. THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO SERVICE BY MASA MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL. AIRCRAFT LOG PAGES 279066/279067. THE MASA PMI WAS GIVEN THE AIRCRAFT LOGBOOK PAGES FOR FOLLOW-UP.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
