## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) N957FE, CE-208B, BEING OPERATED AS BARON AVIATION FLIGHT 7577 ENROUTE FROM GRAND ISLAND, NE, TO OMAHA, NE, DIVERTED INTO LINCOLN, NE, DUE TO ENGINE PROBLEMS AND LOW POWER. THE PILOT REPORTED TO MAINTENANCE THAT HE HEARD A LOUD POP AND THE ENGINE TEMPERATURE CLIMBED TO 900 PLUS DEGREES. MAINTENANCE CHANGED THE ENGINE AND SENT THE ENGINE IN FOR OVERHAUL. THE ENGINE HAD 1,716 HOURS SINCE OVERHAUL AND 7,584 CYCLES SINCE NEW.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
