## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) RECEIVED A CALL FROM THE LONG BEACH AIRPORT AUTHORITY MARCH 11, 2008 AT 1700 THAT N408GH, CESSNA 210 HAD LANDED GEAR UP ON RUNWAY 25R. LGB FSDO INSPECTOR RESPONDED TO THE INCIDENT. AFTER INTERVIEWING PILOT AND CFI, THE PILOT STATED THAT HE DIDN'T USE A CHECKLIST BEFORE LANDING AND THE INSTRUCTOR HAD ONLY VERBALIZED TWICE ABOUT THE LANDING GEAR POSITION. THE LANDING GEAR WAS UP AND LOCKED AT THE TIME OF IMPACT. THE INSTRUCTOR WAS INFORMED BY THE PILOT THAT HE WAS NOT CURRENT AND HE HAD THE CFI ONBOARD TO PROVIDE INSTRUCTION FOR THE PILOT'S CURRENCY REQUIREMENTS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
