## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ ON MARCH 11, 2008 AT APPROXIMATELY 03:00 PM LOCAL TIME, THE NOME FLIGHT SERVICE STATION GAVE AIRPORT INFORMATION TO N66037 AND SUGGESTED THAT N66037 NOT LAND ON THE PACKED SEA ICE. AT APPROXIMATELY 03:30 PM A SECOND AIRCRAFT REPORTED TO NOME FLIGHT SERVICE STATION THAT N66037 HAD LANDED ON THE PACKED SEA ICE, LOST CONTROL, AND SLID INTO A SNOW BANK. AMENDMENT TO FOLLOW.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
