## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON MARCH 11, 2008 AT 1500 CST, A PIPER PA-28-161 AIRCRAFT, N369ND OWNED BY THE UNIVERSITY OF NORTH DAKOTA AND PILOTED BY ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE WHILE ATTEMPTING TO LAND ON A SNOW COVERED RUNWAY AT PEMBINA, ND. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER AND THE NOSE GEAR SHEARED AT THE STRUT. THE PILOT AND SOLE OCCUPANT OF THE AIRCRAFT WAS NOT INJURED. ENGINE TEARDOWN IN PROGRESS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
