## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) STUDENT PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^WAS ATTEMPTING HIS FIRST SOLO LANDING IN A N4153W @ KFFZ. THE STUDENT PILOT HAD JUST COMPLETED TOUCH AND GO'S WITH HIS INSTRUCTOR EARLIER. THE STUDENT PILOT SET UP FOR THE LANDING, RECEIVED INSTRUCTIONS TO LAND AND TAXI BACK. UPON LANDING THE STUDENT PILOT STARTED TO EXECUTE A TOUCH AND GO, THEN REMEMBER HE WAS INSTRUCTED TO LAND AND TAXI BACK, HE RAN LONG ON RUNWAY 22R, MADE A HARD RIGHT TURN AT THE END OF THE RUNWAY AND HIT A TAXI LIGHT WITH THE PROP. THE STUDENT PILOT WAS NOT INJURED, HOWEVER THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED A MINOR PROP STRIKE DUE TO THE IMPACT WITH THE TAXI LIGHT. THE AIRCRAFT ENGINE WILL REQUIRE REPLACEMENT DUE TO THE PROP STRIKE, PER ENGINE MANUFACTURER'S INSTRUCTIONS. THE STUDENT PILOT DID NOT MAKE AN ENTRY IN THE DISCREPANCY LOG NOTATING THE DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
