## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) 03/30/2008 AT 1858 N40168, A SINGLE ENGINE STINSON AIRCRAFT, CONTACTED ANE FCT LOCAL CONTROL FREQ AND REPORTED ENGINE TROUBLE. AIRCRAFT LANDED AT ROS WITHOUT INCIDENT. INTERVIEWS WITH ROS AIRPORT PERSONNEL INDICATED THAT A SPARK PLUG HAD BEEN EJECTED FROM ONE OF THE CYLINDERS. AIRCRAFT OWNER ALSO CONFIRMED THAT ONE OF THE ENGINES SPARK PLUGS HAD DETACHED FROM THE CYLINDER. AIRCRAFT SUFFERED NO DAMAGE AND THE PILOT WAS NOT INJURED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
