## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON 04/07/2008 PIPER N3129B WAS APPROXIMATELY 20 MILES WEST OF AURORA AIRPORT IN AURORA, ILLINOIS WHEN THE ENGINE "COUGHED FOR ABOUT 4-5 SECONDS, THEN QUIT." THE PILOT TRIED A RESTART WHICH WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. HE LANDED ON CEMETERY ROAD APPROXIMATELY ONE MILE NORTH WEST OF SHABBONA, ILLINOIS. NO INJURY TO PIC AND NO DAMAGE TO A/C OR PROPERTY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
