## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AIRCRAFT WAS ON A REPOSITIONING FLIGHT FROM HFD TO BAF. PILOT EXECUTED MULTIPLE LANDINGS. ON FINAL LANDING, THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED AFTER TOUCHDOWN DURING ROLLOUT. INVESTIGATION FOUND A FRACTURED FITTING THAT THE NOSE GEAR ACTUATOR IS SECURED TO AT ITS AFT END. AD 2005-13-16R ADDRESSES A KNOWN PROBLEM IN THIS AREA. AD WAS COMPLIED WITH IN SEPTEMBER 2007 AT 4515.3 HOURS. REPETITIVE LUBRICATION IS REQUIRED EVERY 50 HOURS AND THE AD INSPECTION IS REQUIRED EVERY 100 HOURS. THE AIRCRAFT NOW HAS 4641.1 HOURS. A QUICK REVIEW OF THE MAINTENANCE RECORDS SHOWS NO MAINTNANCE ENTRIES FOR WORK IN THIS AREA SINCE THE INITIAL AD COMPLETION.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
