## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AT 1100 AM ON 4-08-08, THE PILOT DEPARTED BOONVILLE AIRPORT (I91) TO THE EAST WITH ONE PASSENGER ON BOARD. MINUTES INTO THE FLIGHT, AT AN ALTITUDE OF APPROXIMATELY 800 FEET, THE PILOT EXPERIENCED A VIBRATION COMING FROM THE FRONT OF THE FIREWALL. DUE TO THE LEVEL OF VIBRATION, THE PILOT ELECTED TO MAKE A PRECAUTIONARY LANDING IN LIEU OF RETURNING TO THE AIRPORT. THE PILOT SELECTED A FIELD APPROXIMATELY 1.25 MILES DIRECTLY EAST OF THE AIRPORT, ON THE WEST SIDE OF ROUTE 61. THE AIRCRAFT WAS SET DOWN IN A WET/MUDDY FIELD. DURING THE ROLL-OUT, THE LEFT HAND LANDING GEAR COLLAPSED OUTWARD ALLOWING THE AIRCRAFT TO FALL LEFT WING LOW AND CAUSING A PROPELLER STRIKE. THE PILOT AND PASSENGER EXITED THE AIRCRAFT WITH NO INJURIES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
