## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) DURING APPROACH AND SETTING UP FOR LEFT ENGINE SHUTDOWN/RESTART PROCEDURE AT LVK, BOTH PILOT/INSTRUCTOR AND STUDENT NOTICED A KNOCKING SOUND ALONG WITH HEAVY RIGHT TURNING TENDENCIES OF THE AIRCRAFT. PILOT IMMEDIATELY TOOK CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT. THE G1000 ANNUNCIATORS SHOWED RIGHT ENGINE IN RED READING: LOW RH OIL PRESSURE. LOOKING OUT THE CO-PILOT WINDOW THE PILOT AND STUDENT NOTICED THE RIGHT ENGINE HAD STOPPED AND DID NOT FEATHER. PILOT DECLARED AN EMERGENCY, AND LANDED AT LVK WITH NO FURTHER INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
