## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) AFTER A NORMAL APPROACH AND TOUCHDOWN TO RUNWAY 34, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ (CO-PILOT) EXTENDED THE SPEED BRAKES AND ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ (PILOT-IN-COMMAND) DEPLOYED THE THRUST REVERSES. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ CALLED SIX LIGHTS AND AT THAT TIME BOTH PILOTS HEARD THE GEAR WARNING HORN. THE LEFT WING BEGAN TO DROP DOWN AND SCRAPE THE RUNWAY. NEXT THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED. PIC THEN SKIDED ON THE RUNWAY APPROXIMATELY 900 FEET UNTIL IT CAME TO A STOP. ALL OCCUPANTS EXITED THE AIRCRAFT THROUGH THE OVER WING EMERGENCY EXIT. TWO PASSENGERS WERE CHECKED BY EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES AND RELEASED WITH O INJURIES. AIRCRAFT WAS LATER TOWED TO NETJETS FACILITY.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB NYC08LA162](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/NYC08LA162), Apr 15, 2008: Cessna 560XL (N613QS), White Plains, NY, substantial damage. Probable cause: An uncommanded landing gear retraction after touchdown for undetermined reasons.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
