## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23)WHILE TAXIING NORTH TO RWY 17, VIA TXWY F, PILOT WENT PAST TXWY G, WHICH WAS LAST TURN FOR RWY 17. PILOT THEN INSTRUCTED TO CONTINUE NORTH ON TXWY F AND TURN RIGHT ON TXWY J TO ENTER RWY 26R AND THEN TURN LEFT ON TXWY J2 AND RETURN TO RWY 17 VIA TXWY J2, J AND G. WHILE TURNING LEFT FROM TXWY J2 UNTO TXWY J, THE PILOT STATED THAT HE WAS CONCERNED THAT THE AIRCRAFT NOSE WHEEL MIGHT GO OFF SOUTH EDGE OF TXWY J. AS A RESULT OF THIS CONCERN, THE PILOT MADE THE LEFT TURN TO SOON AND THE LEFT MAIN GEAR WENT OFF EDGE OF TXWY J2 AND BECAME STUCK IN THE SOFT CLAY GROUND. AS THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO A REST, WHILE SINKING INTO THE SOFT GROUND, A 2 FOOT SQUARE CONCRETE MARKER RODE UP UNTO THE TIRES AND SLIGHTLY DAMAGED THE WHEEL FAIRING. NO OTHER DAMAGE OCCURRED. ANY CORRECTIVE ACTION WILL BE THROUGH COMPANY ASAP PROGRAM. THIS MATTER IS CONSIDERED CLOSED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
