## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON APRIL 22, 2008, AT 11:15 MDT, A MAULE 7-235C, REGISTERED TO PROFESSIONAL ADVENTURES, LTD, EXPERIENCED A PROPELLER STRIKE AFTER THE STUDENT PILOT BRAKED TOO HEAVILY WHILE TAXIING THE TAILWHEEL EQUIPPED AIRCRAFT. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS PREVAILED AND NO FLIGHT PLAN WAS FILED FOR THE LOCAL FLIGHT. THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED THREE FORKS, MONTANA, AIRPORT AT 08:30 MDT FOR THE INSTRUCTIONAL FLIGHT. DAMAGE WAS LIMITED TO THE PROPELLER AND ENGINE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
