## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) N13KD BLEW A TIRE ON LANDING RUNWAY 28R AT BOI. A 2 INCH BY 2 FOOT PIECE OF METAL WAS FOUND ON THE RUNWAY IN THE VICINITY OF THE AIRCRAFT. IT HAS BEEN DETERMINED THAT THE METAL WAS FROM THE AIRCRAFT N13KD. THE TIRE HAD A FLAT SPOT AND A 2 INCH BY 2 INCH HOLE. NO OTHER DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE WAS FOUND.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
