## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON MAY 1, 2008, AT 0650 LOCAL TIME, THE FLIGHT CREW FOR AIR TRANSPORT INTERNATIONAL LLC, OPERATING AS FLIGHT NO. 802, A DC-8-73F, TAIL NUMBER N606AF, DECLARED AN EMERGENCY WHILE ENROUTE FROM TOLEDO, OHIO (KTOL) TO LOS ANGELES, CAL (LAX), DUE TO A NUMBER 3 ENGINE FIRE WARNING LIGHT AND BELL INDICATION (ANNUNCIATOR LIGHT ILLUMINATION). THE FLIGHT CREW DIVERTED TO WICHITA, KS (ICT) WHERE EMERGENCY VEHICLES WERE DISPATCHED; THE AIRCRAFT LANDED SAFELY WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
