## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ACCORDING TO THE PIC, AND SUPPLEMENTED BY A MO STATE HIGHWAY PATROL INCIDENT REPORT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ HAD ALREADY COMPLETED TWO SPRAY PASSES IN A FIELD ADJACENT TO BUSINESS HIGHWAY 60. ON HIS THIRD PASS, THE AIRCRAFT STRUCK A UTILITY POWER LINE DURING HIS PULL-UP. THE WIRE STRIKE DIVERTED THE AIRCRAFTS FLIGHT PATH TO OVER A NEARBY RESIDENCE, WHERE IT STRUCK THE TOP OF A LARGE TREE BEHIND THE HOUSE, AND THEN IMPACTED THE GROUND. IT APPEARS THE AIRCRAFT CARTWHEELED DUE TO THE EXTENT OF THE DAMAGE; HOWEVER, THERE WAS NO POST CRASH FIRE. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ SECURED BY A FOUR-POINT HARNESS AND WEARING A FLIGHT HELMET, REMAINED CONSCIOUS, AND WAS ASSISTED WITH EXTRICATION BY AN OCCUPANT OF THE RESIDENCE. HE WAS LATER TRANSPORTED BY EMS HELICOPTER TO A HOSPITAL IN SPRINGFIELD, MO, AND WAS RELEASED THE NEXT DAY.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
