## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) WHILE LANDING ON RUNWAY 18 AT TALKEETNA, ALASKA, THE AIRCRAFT DID A SMALL BOUNCE OFF THE RIGHT WHEEL. DURING THE NEXT TOUCHDOWN, THE TIRES WERE LOCKED AND THE PLANE NOSED OVER, STRIKING THE PROP BEFORE FALLING BACK ON THE TAIL AND COMING TO A STOP. THE PILOT CONFIRMED THAT THE SKIS WERE IN THE UP POSITION. THE BRAKES WERE NOT LOCKED WHEN THE PLANE WAS TOWED OFF THE RUNWAY. THE PILOT THINKS THAT HIS FEET ENDED UP ON THE BRAKES AFTER THE BOUNCE AND THAT CAUSED THE BRAKES TO BE LOCKED ON THE NEXT TOUCHDOWN.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
