## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) N602LR OPERATED BY FREEDOM AIRLINES, INC, (FDKA) ON FLIGHT 6050 FROM IAD TO ATL RETURNED TO THE FIELD AFTER THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT REPORTED SMOKE IN THE CABIN. CREW DECLARED AN EMERGENCY AND LANDED WITH NO INCIDENT ON RUNWAY 19L. PER THE CAPTAINS INSTRUCTION, THE FLIGHT ATTENDANTS PERFORMED AN EMERGENCY EVACUATION AND ALL 58 PASSENGERS AND 4 CREW MEMBERS WERE EVACUATED IN 3 1/2 MINUTES, OUT THE MAIN ENTRY DOOR (1L), WITH NO REPORTED INJURIES. AIRCRAFT WAS THEN REMOVED FROM THE RUNWAY UNDER TOW. ALL EMERGENCY EQUIPMENT FUNCTIONED PROPERLY AND THE MAIN ENTRY DOOR WAS THE ONLY EXIT USED, DUE TO THE LARGE QUANTITY OF SMOKE THAT DISAPPATED JUST BEFORE LANDING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
