THE AIRCRAFT IS SUSPECTED TO HAVE BEEN PILOTED BY ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ WHO WAS SEEN NEAR THE AIRCRAFT IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE INCIDENT. THE AIRCRAFT WAS REMOVED FROM THE SCENE AND LOCKED INTO A PRIVATE HANGAR PRIOR TO ANY AIRPORT PERSONNEL ARRIVING ON SCENE TO CONDUCT INTERVIEWS AND TAKE PICTURES. AIRPORT SAFEY OFFICIAL ARRIVED ON SCENE SHORTLY AFTER N51C WAS REMOVED. NUMEROUS PICTURES WERE RECORDED INCLUDING TWO BROKEN TAXIWAY LIGHTS, SKIDDING TIRE MARKS OFF THE RUNWAY SURFACE AND INTO THE DIRT AT THE END OF RUNWAY 17, BENT CHAIN LINK FENCE POLE, AND DEFORMED CHAIN LINK FENCE. REVIEW OF FLIGHT AWARE FLIGHT PLAN RECORDS INDICATE N15C ARRIVED AT P19 FROM KVGT ON 05/22/08. NEXT RECORD INDICATED THAT N15C REPOSITIONED FROM P19 TO KLGB ON 05/23/08. NO FSDO REPRESENTATION OCCURRED AND NO SPECIAL FLIGHT PERMIT WAS ISSUED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
