## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB LAX08FA152](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/LAX08FA152), May 23, 2008: Beech V35B (N1886L), Fall River Mills, CA, destroyed, 4 fatal. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain adequate airspeed while maneuvering for landing, resulting in an aerodynamic stall.

- [Incident 19810820064889I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19810820064889I), Aug 20, 1981: Beech V35B (N1886L), St Francis, KS, Minor damage. Landing gear collapsed during roll out. Inspection found no discrepancies on extension and retraction check.
