## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) CESSNA CITATION DEPARTED RUNWAY 19 MSY AT 0733 AND AT 300 FEET STRUCK A FLOCK OF SEAGULLS, THEN RETURNED BACK TO MSY AND LANDED SAFELY. SUBSEQUENT INSPECTION REVEALED MINOR DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT ENGINE INTAKE. MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL TOOK PICTURES OF THE DAMAGE AND CONTACTED CESSNA. UPON REVIEW OF THE PICTURES CESSNA DETERMIINED THAT DAMAGES WREE MINOR AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS FLOWN TO WICHITA KS FOR REPAIR.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
