## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) PILOT WAS FROM GREENVILLE, TENNESSEE APPROXIMATELY 50 MILES TO THE SOUTHEAST OF ROGERSVILLE. HE FLEW TO ROGERSVILLE FOR A QB MEETING. AFTER THE MEETING, THE WAS GIVING A RIDE TO A FORMER T-28 PILOT. ACCORDING TO ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ THE FORMER PILOT WAS MANIPULATING THE CONTROLS AND DOING SUCH A GOOD JOB WHEN THAT HE DID NOT REALIZE AS THEY WERE COMING IN FOR A LANDING THE GEAR WAS NOT DOWN. ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ STATED HE REALIZED THE GEAR HAD NOT BEEN EXTENDED AT TOUCH DOWN BUT IT WAS TO LATE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
