## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

(-23) ON MAY 27, 2008, THE PILOT, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, WHILE HOLDING SHORT ON ALPHA 4, WAS CLEARED FOR TAKEOFF ON RUNWAY 27, LOST CONTROL OF AIRCRAFT N69226, A CESSNA 152, AND STRUCK A TAXI LIGHT WITH THE AIRACRAFT PROPELLERS. THE PILOTS STATED THAT HE COULDN'T STRAIGHTEN THE AIRCRAFT DUE TO A DEFECTIVE RIGHT WHEEL BRAKE. THE AIRCRAFT WHILE TURNING RIGHT, STRUCK THE TAXI LIGHT. THE PILOT WAS NOT INJURED AND THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED DAMAGE TO IT'S PROPELLER. THE PILOT WAS ATTEMPTING HIS FIRST SOLO FLIGHT. THIS INCIDENT OCCURRED AT THE FORT PIERCE/ST. LUSIE COUNTRY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT. M OR D SUBMITTED. AMENDMENT FOR AIRCRAFT AIRWORTHINESS TO FOLLOW.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
